Good news for manufacturers of Power plugs & Sockets: The implementation date of the revised standard IS 1293:2019 is now extended by one year until 23rd Oct 2022. The current 2005 version of standard will still be applicable until 23rd Oct 23.
However, it is strongly suggested that manufacturers update their certificates to reflect the new 2019 version.
