Implementation of Mandatory regime for Deep Freezer & Light Commercial Air Conditioner (LCAC) under S&L Program

BEE has recently published the advisory notice regarding the mandatory regime implementation for Deep freezer and Light Air Commercial Conditioner with effect from 1^st July 2023.

Key points w.r.t advisory notice:

i)The Voluntary regime for both products will be valid until 30^th June 2023.

ii)The label validity period under Mandatory regime will be form 1^st July 2023 to 30^th June 2025. Hence, the products with revised label validity period shall not be placed in market before 1^st July 2023.

iii)Manufacturers can submit the new label sample against the existing registered model in BEE portal. The window to change the label is open from 1^st April till 30^th June 2023.
