First Security Assurance Requirements from BIS under CRO for CCTV Cameras effective 9th October 2024” – CRO PHASE VII
Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity), Government of India has released an important notification regarding the amendments to CRO (Compulsory Registration Order) for the CCTV cameras. This notification is for the testing of the ‘essential security parameters’ mandatory to the CCTV cameras.
The test reports from any BIS recognized labs would need to be submitted to obtain the BIS registration.
The said order will be effective from 9th October 2024.
