The Ministry of Information and Communications of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (MIC) has issued a new Circular 24/2022/TT-BTTTT, which includes the latest standard QCVN 132: 2022/BTTTT National technical regulation on electrical safety requirements for telecommunications and information terminal equipment.
The QCVN 132: 2022/BTTTT standard is based on IEC 62368-1: 2018 for Audio/video, information and communication technology equipment – Part 1: Safety requirements
Products covered under the mandatory scope of approval includes DECT phone, Desktop Computer, Laptop PC, Tablet PC , Notebook, TV, Set-top-box.
The new Regulation will be mandatory from January 1, 2024.
