ETA under restricted category has been withdrawn as per O.M. No.R-11017/01/2018-PP (part-1) dated 09/09/2024. Going forward applicants have to apply under self-declaration mode only which includes devices covered under ETA SD mode and also devices which are covered under ETA ‘restricted item category’. Both the categories are merged into single category i.e. ETA through self-declaration mode. Rest of the terms and conditions remains same.
