4th Meeting of Working Group-1 (Freq. up to 1 GHz) of NFAP-2022 Review/ Revision Committee was conducted on 20.11.2024 under the Chairmanship of Shri. Viresh Goel, Joint Wireless Adviser to the Govt.of India.
Proposal for adding footnote for frequency band 470 to 698 MHz in the NFAP as it may be used under land mobile service category intended for applications (e.g. wireless microphones) on a secondary basis for PMSE (Programme Making and Special Events (PMSE) which will be a benefit to the Public with respect to high quality/interference free audio for various professional audio applications, also audio PMSE does not cause harmful interference to other devices as it operates in very low power of 50mW for Narrowband systems.
