Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has directed the Ministry of Science and Technology to expedite the commercialization of 5G, advance research on next-generation telecommunications, and develop telecommunications satellites to strengthen Vietnam’s digital infrastructure and economic growth.

On March 1, 2025, the Prime Minister signed Directive No. 05/CT-TTg, setting forth key priorities to:
