The Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) has issued a new notification confirming that ILAC-accredited test reports (from non-border sharing countries) will be accepted until 31st December 2025 under the MTCTE scheme for specific telecom products as below-

Base Station for Cellular Network (2G to 5G)
TEC has merged the ERs for 4G and 5G Base Stations into a single unified ER, now called:
“Base Station for Cellular Network”
This means all variants – from GSM to 5G NR (Types 1-O, 2-O, 1-H), Active Antenna Systems, and Hybrid Antenna Systems – are now covered under one simplified compliance category.
Other Products Included:
- SIM – All variants
- VHF/UHF Radio Equipment System – All variants
- E-band Fixed Radio Relay Systems – All variants
Test reports must be from ILAC signatories (with ILAC MRA mark) and should not be older than 2 years from the date of submission on the MTCTE portal.
