Indonesia Updates Technical Requirements for LTE and 5G Devices under KEPMEN KOMDIGI No. 569 Tahun 2025

Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi) has officially issued KEPMEN KOMDIGI No. 569 Tahun 2025, dated 19 December 2025, introducing updated technical requirements for LTE and IMT (5G) devices operating in Indonesia.

This new regulation replaces the previous KM No. 352/2024 and reflects Indonesia’s latest spectrum management and technical compliance framework for cellular equipment.

Scope of the Regulation

KEPMEN KOMDIGI No. 569 Tahun 2025 applies to LTE and 5G New Radio (NR) equipment operating within Indonesia. The regulation sets out comprehensive technical specifications, including requirements related to emission limits and frequency stability, for cellular devices subject to certification.

Impact on b41 and n41 Devices

Under the updated regulation, products that support:

  • b41 (LTE), or

  • n41 (5G)

and are already certified will be required to undergo re-certification under the new technical standard.

This re-certification requirement will apply from 19 January 2026, one month after the regulation’s publication.

What This Means for Manufacturers

Manufacturers holding active certificates for LTE and 5G products operating on b41 or n41 bands must prepare for:

  • New testing in accordance with KEPMEN KOMDIGI No. 569 Tahun 2025

  • Updated certification applications to maintain compliance and market access in Indonesia

The revised standard ensures that all applicable cellular devices align with Indonesia’s current spectrum policies and technical requirements. For more information, access the official documentation below (Indonesian only):
