The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has issued “MIIT No [2024] No. 76,” effective November 1, 2024, for RFID equipment in the 900 MHz band.

This will replace the previous regulation “MIIT No [2007] No. 205.” Approvals meeting old provisions are valid until then.

Post-November 1, only new standards apply. The 840-845 MHz range is prohibited, allowing 920-925 MHz instead.

SRRC certification is required, but not a radio station license. Usage near railway tracks requires approval from relevant railway authorities.
