Criteria for certification of Telecom Equipment having specialized test requirements under MTCTE

TEC has issues a notification on 29^th October 2024 addendum to Notification No. 6- 6/2021-TC/TEC (Pt. II) dated 18.04.2023 (enclosed) for certification under MTCTE, it is hereby informed that the Satellite Communication Equipment meeting operational criteria outlined in aforementioned notification, will also be certified based on the similar test reports/documents as specified in referenced notification

The Criteria for getting a provisional certificate for LAN Switches, Routers, DWDM & Satellite Communication Equipment having specialised test requirements –

1. Operates on Single or Three Phase with current requirements >_32A OR

2. Operates on 48V DC with current requirements >_100A
