In the recent vide notification, BIS permitted the test reports for security testing of CCTVs issued by STQC laboratories under PPO, where samples were submitted to these labs prior to their date of BIS empanelment/recognition of STQC laboratory. These test reports may be submitted to BIS for the implementation of ERs for Security of CCTV.
14 STQC laboratories have been recognized/ empanelled by BIS and listed over BIS CRS portal.
The concerned STQC laboratories are advised to attach test reports to such samples with the LIMS generated test report without testing after valid test request is generated by an applicants/ licensees from their login account. Applicants/ Licensees may thereafter use those LIMS test reports to apply for the implementation of ERs for Security of CCTV.
