The Moroccan National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (ANRT) has announced updates to its regulatory policy, set to take effect on May 1, 2025. Here are the key changes:
E-labeling is now permitted.
Labeling requirements now extend to all devices granted type approval certificates and import permits.
SAR Information Requirement: For devices operating at more than 20 mW and used within 20 cm of the user, the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) information must be clearly displayed as a key technical characteristic. This can be indicated on:
- The device itself
- Accompanying documents (e.g., brochure or user manual)
- The packaging
- An electronic label displaying the information
A new label template is now available.
Sample Requests: ANRT may request samples as per its regulatory decision. Samples will not be returned.
