As per the notification NCCS/HQ/ COMSEC/2023-24/III dated 02/10/2024 the last date for submitting the application to NCCS and getting a Pro Tem Certificate was 31st October 2024.
Based on the requests received from OEMs and Industry bodies NCCS has revised the DoC cum Undertaking for pro tem certificate and also has given 1 month extension for getting a pro tem certificate till 30th November 2024.
Applying to NCCS before 30th Nov 2024 to get a Pro Tem Certificate will help you sell/import your products in India for the next 6 months while you test and comply your product to ITSAR requirements. Also the other advantage is that there will be no NCCS Evaluation fee for these applications.
