Mobile Phone Handsets: Part 3 Indian Language
Support for Mobile Phone Handsets — Specific Requirements has been published under Amendment No.1: 2025.
This amendment mandates that mobile phone handsets include an instruction manual, either in printed or digital form (online user guide and/or QR code), with clear instructions on the packaging to access the information. This amendment, issued by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), will be in force until September 19, 2025
BIS must be informed in case of any change in the format.
