NCCS has issued a notification on streamlining the process of security certification where they have clarified the timelines for testing to be completed within 16 Weeks and further 8 weeks will be required for evaluation of the results and issuance of the certificate. The notification also specifies that any delay from the OEM/AIR in submitting the documents to the TSTL/validator which may result in delay of start of security testing and it disrupts the smooth operation of the certification process timelines.
Hence, The applicants are requested to submit all the required documents to the validator within 7 working days and the sample is made available in the test lab within 15 calendar days, So that by then the validator can provide a confirmation on the main and associated models.
Refer to our previous June Newsletter post on NCCS mandated dates: For products already certified for MTCTE, the NCCS mandatory Certificate date is 1st July 2024 (current) and for product NOT yet MTCTE Certified, these products must be NCCS certified by 1st Oct 2024.
