The date of filing annual returns for any financial year by producers regarding waste batteries is June 30th of the next financial year. However, CPCB requested Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for the extension of timeline.
The deadline for annual return under the Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022 has been extended to 30th August 2024 for the FY 2023-24.
