MEITY has assigned STPI once again to fulfil the market surveillance duties for the products notified under Electronics and Information Technology Goods (Requirement of Compulsory Registration) Order, 2021.
In the notification, all the registered manufacturers are requested to cooperate to complete the surveillance activities in a time-bound manner to avoid penal actions as per the provisions of BIS Act, 2016.
